Haha, so browsing through Nebezial's gallery got me started on comics (yeah yeah, I never had that phase as a kid, shut up).  Working my way though the Artifact series right now, and also picked up a few of the Witchblade compilations.  I'm finding the paranormal and more 'regular person on the street' style of comics holds my attention where the superhero comics never really did (blasphemous, right?).  Anyone have any favorites that have art styles someone similar to Nebezial  (if there are any others that good, haha)?

Got in watercolor pencils and reservoir brushes a little ways back and finally got the chance to go around and use them a bit recently.  I must say, I enjoyed the experience thoroughly!  I need to get better at blending and thickening up the color a hair bit, but all in all, quite fun!

The sketchdaily one is pretty neat, and for me at least, helps to move to subjects one may not have thought about otherwise.  One of the sketchdaily topics introduced me to a couple sites useful for timed gesture drawing, which is quite a bit tougher than I would have thought, haha.

So lately I've been trying to catch a weekly livestream from a group of people called AwesomeHorseStudios (just add .com to get to their site).  They have a couple really nice long conversation-filled videos from previous livestream that they sell for really cheap, and they hope to continue to do a weekly livestream (which is free).  The group kinda grew out of one of the artists (Noah Bradley) doing livestreams of his paintings without quite as much commentary.  You can nab the videos he did on his site (again, add .com to his name), though again you have to pay for them.  All are quite enjoyable and really cheap.  I actually like their styles a bit better than FZD because its not quite so movie-industry/design focused.  I'd still highly recommend checking out the FZDSCHOOL videos on youtube as well though, as they have awesome info on all sorts of topics!
